Due to a natural disaster, man-induced catastrophe or another unforeseeable event, the humanity takes a step backwards in development. Continuity of the information has been unsettled, thus alternative strategy of communicating with uncivilized inhabitants is necessary. Expressive shapes and dominant scale bring about respect and fear. On one hand the place repeals and is disturbing to unadvanced people. On the other, eeriness sparks fascination and fascination leads to a cult being established. The rock is appealing for fragile humans and attracts them to settle around it. As they try to grasp the world around them, the rock becomes a symbol of the inexplicable.

STAGNANCY

//escapism, experience, cyclicity

The humanity continues its constant and sharp development thus the information is conveyed smoothly. A network of WIPP’s is set up using the same principle across the world to build common awareness. Their striking shapes and iridescent colours help to establish them as a chain of distinctive, consumer-oriented places. Humans must consume to be happy. They give people the possibility to experience before unknown type of dualistic places – life (visitors) and death (nuclear wastes) equally. Modern escapism becomes the new luxury. Demanded by people it remains explicit and unforgettable like cult brands.

PROGRESS

//cyberworld, error, re-use

In the future when human life will be transmitted to cyberworld (plateau of minds) the site will be mapped on the web as dangerous, unpleasant to investigate place. All devices will go crazy near the virtual location of nuclear waste storage; connection with internet will be lost; telenoia – a brain net will be cut off. Once sufficient technology to re-use the waste is developed, information becomes open-source and the database is used to uncover and re-use to the best possible result.
